We had a lovely snowy Saturday at home!!! When we woke up it was raining pretty hard but the roads were still safe enough to drive to Salt Lake for some Christmas shopping. We took our time getting ready. Melissa got herself all dolled up, She got a new hair cut, its really cute!! and as we were getting ready to put coats on.....it started to snow......hard, huge snowflakes. We decided to drive a little ways up and see how the roads were. We stopped to eat at Carl's Jr in Provo and by the time we left, there was 5 or 6 inches of snow and still falling. The Roads were horrific!! We decided to go home, it was a slow drive back. We had a fun day at home. I love having a shoveled drive-way so while I shoveled Melissa and Jos got their snow...Or "no's" (as Jos says) gear on and the next thing I knew those two tricksters started throwing snowballs at me!!! Then we rolled around in the snow, made snow angels and snow people.

Look at that pretty girl picking up that huge snow ball!!! She's mine!!!

Jos Throwing a "no's" ball at me. Notice you can't see the snow in his hand, by the time he takes a few bites he doesn't have much left to throw......just a Jos size handful.

Aren't those snow people cute.....the little blue frozen boy is my favorite!!

Then we came inside and Melissa made some hot chocolate and almond muffins. Hyrum was inside sleeping during the snow fun, but he enjoyed watching us eat muffins and hot chocolate.

Then we watched "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen...Now that is a "star studded" cast for 1954!!! It is such a fun old movie!!

After the movie on our way to bed we checked out side to see how are snow people were fairing...and to our shock and dismay some punk neighborhood kids had smashed them to bits, buttons and carrots and scarves all over the place...We tried to follow the footprint tracks they had made but they didn't go far. We didn't want to let them ruin our fun so at 12:23 am , with the boys sound asleep we got back in our snow gear and the two of us re-made our snow people. The snow had frozen so it was harder to get it to stick, which is why they are a lot shorter.

We had so much fun this weekend!! Just the four of us. Melissa is used to being home alone all day and not talking to anyone, but for me it was vary refreshing!! Thanks Lover. I had so much fun!!
